With a mission to accelerate Europe’s green and digital transition, the FIERCE project will mobilise 2.5 million EUR in financial support for 70 SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups to fuel the development, demonstration and commercialization of green space-enabled solutions. On top of that, the project will support 140+ SMEs with specialized technical and business advisory to design business solutions and engage in process innovation using downstream space data in areas such as circularity, raw materials, environmental monitoring and corporate sustainability. In parallel, FIERCE will enable a series of local entrepreneurship initiatives driven by innovation intermediaries and business support networks aimed at creating even more opportunities for space-enabled green innovation through synergies with regional industrial, research and market actors.
DReVen leads the Context Analysis on the state-of-play, success factors and perceptions on the use of downstream space for circularity and sustainability, the Design Sprint and co-creation activities and the SME Advisory Services implementation.
