Agile Manufacturing as a Service through AI Autonomous Agents

MaaSAI System aims to automate and facilitate interactions between suppliers of manufacturing systems and manufacturing companies in a Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) ecosystem. With the MaaSAI System the manufacturers can avoid and reduce the traditional heavy investments for the setup and the maintenance of their operations. The MaaSAI System focusing on the production flexibility, agility and responsiveness and enables on-demand sustainable manufacturing and optimization of resources utilization. The MaaSAI project will deploy 3 main key exploitable results: 1) MaaSAI Cloud Marketplace; 2) MaaSAI Provider Suite; 3) MaaSAI Consumer Suite. The MaaSAI System wil be demonstrated in 5 Pilots of European companies from different sectors: metal machining, gears and mechanical power transmission, biomaterials, food processing and electronics manufacturing.

DReVen will support the communication and the collaboration between the providers and the consumers of the MaaSAI, by providing a sophisticated collaboration hub. The MaaS Collaboration Hub will be a part of the MaaSAI Cloud Marketplace providing collaboration features and functionalities like file sharing, task management etc. to the pilots. Also, DReVen will perform an impact assessment of the operations of the pilots in terms of environmental and cost performance. The results will feed into the LCA-LCC Toolkit which will provide high-level estimations on the environmental and economic impact of the pilot use cases. At the same time, DReVen is responsible for the specifications driving the development of the MaaSAI Toolkits, together with the definition of the most suitable Key Performance Indicators for the project use case scenarios.
