Network of Research Infrastructures for European Seismology

Design and Development of an Internet Application for sharing information related to the sites of accelerometers under “”NERIES“. NERIES responded to the needs of the seismological research and surveillance communities as well as to concerns from society. Earthquakes are recorded in the larger European-Mediterranean region by over 100 seismic monitoring systems and observatories in 46 countries. NERIES created a network containing these seismological infrastructures and combined them into a sustainable integrated pan-European cyber-infrastructure serving current and future needs of the scientific community and of society.

DRAXIS role was the analysis, design, development and installation of an Information System and a web GIS Application for storing, administrating and presenting information related to sites of accelerometer stations in the greater Εuropean region.
