European cluster-led accelerator for digitisation of the circular economy across key emerging sectors

Europe’s transition to a circular and climate-neutral economy is as much an environmental, economic and social necessity, as it is an opportunity for European businesses and citizens.

DigiCirc aims to empower SMEs to leverage digital technology as a key enabler for innovative circular services, processes and business models. The project targets 3 strategic high-growth domains – Circular cities, Blue economy, Bioeconomy – and it will organize 3 business acceleration programmes with a total budget of €2M, to support SME/startup innovation for the circular economy domain.

DRAXIS is the technical leader of the project, being responsible for the development of the digital tools that will be available to startups for use: i) a data hub with current and historical data of waste streams, ii) an infoportal with investment opportunities, regulatory landscape, market trends and technology advancements on circular economy.
