Envi4All @ European Big Data Value Forum

The European Big Data Value Forum 2017 was held in Versailles, France from 21st to 23rd November. The event was jointly organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) and the European Commission, with a special focus on “Trusted AI for Smart Industry”.
Keynotes and presentations ranged from cutting-edge industrial applications of Big Data technologies, innovative business cases of the data economy, inspiring future visions, and insights on EU policy-making and R&D&I funding in this area.
Representing DRAXIS, Dimitris Petalios (CREVIS SPRL) presented the Envi4All successful case at the session ‘Big Data Entrepreneurship’ on Day 2, of the event. The aim of the session was to bring together intermediaries (incubators/accelerators), private investors (venture capitalists/business angels), and “small” stakeholders (startups/SMEs) with successful use cases in Big Data (products and/or services, websites and/or applications) – to discuss and agree upon next operational steps to build a successful entrepreneurship and investment environment in Big Data in Europe.
