Front-end developer

We are looking for a front-end developer, eager to work with demanding technologies and solve complex problems, to join our development team in Athens or Thessaloniki.

We build state of the art, custom made IT solutions, based on open source technology, for environmental and agricultural management. As a front-end developer you will join our team in building applications around the areas of remote sensing, big data, geographic information system (GIS), IoT, blockchain, data analytics, time-series databases and web/mobile applications. We are a projects-based company, therefore research and the need to deliver beyond the state-of-the-art technology, is a challenge we address in our everyday work life. The main responsibilities are:

  • Consume web services and APIs to implement the features and user interfaces of projects and products
  • Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems
  • Write clean, well-structured and maintainable code by using software development practices
  • Participate in quality assurance and maintenance
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to collectively solve research challenges and deliver compelling user-facing products.


  • Expert understanding and experience with JS frameworks. We mainly use Vue.js but experience in other frameworks is also welcome. We request having proven work experience as a front-end developer for 3+ years building complex web applications
  • 3+ years of HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity and cross browser compatibility
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
  • Be passionate for what you do and adore finding solutions
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines.

Good to have (not required):

  • Experience in working with spatial data and controls
  • Experience in time-series visualizations
