DRAXIS internship is an excellent way to get a taste of the business world and discover what triggers your interest, inspires you and increases your excitement. You will have the chance to spend two months in a friendly and fully supportive environment and work with professionals, experts in their respective field.

Each internship has a different focus, so the qualifications, the every-day activities, the team you will be working with and the responsibilities will differ according to the one that you will choose.

                                                                                              Internship Positions

Web Developers – IT Department

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide contributions to the IT team according to the current projects and needs;
  • Work side by side with experienced developers;
  • Support the team in the preparation of technical reports and other documents;
  • Support the product development team;
  • Participate in brainstorming meetings that result in the definition of a system architecture or a solution to overcome a technical difficulty;
  • Participate in dev meetings and hear about new technologies or methodologies that are being tested;

Agronomists – R&D Projects Department

Agronomists will work on projects and ideas relevant to the agricultural sector. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide support and assistance according to the current projects and needs;
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents;
  • Research technical and policy issues;
  • Communicate with Project Managers and other team members;
  • Contribute in the writing of proposals;

Environmentalists – R&D Projects Department

Environmentalists will work on projects and ideas relevant to various environmental topics, such as air pollution and waste management, etc. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide support and assistance according to the current projects and needs;
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents;
  • Research technical and policy issues;
  • Communicate with Project Managers and other team members;
  • Contribute in the writing of proposals;

Administrative Operations Assistants – Administrative Department

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the day-today business operations;
  • Provide support and assistance to other departments;
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents;
  • File and retrieve documents;
  • Prepare meetings and other company events;
  • Prepare travel arrangements;
  • Answer and manage incoming calls;
  • Liaise and support internal staff;
